  • OVERVIEW:  The Samsung RF265AASH  has 25.8 cu. ft. of space.  What's nice is how neatly divided up that space is between 4 spill-proof shelves, its 5 gallon sized door bins, the interior 2 vegetable bins, and a bottom-mount freezer.  Although we are fans of the Samsung Twin Cooling System, in this particular model, we noticed that the temperature wasn't as evenly dispersed as we would have liked.  There were clear temperature variances between the top of the refrigerator and the back of the fridge.  That said, it was only about a 1-3 degree difference.  All in all, it ran smoothly and there were no problems with the model we tested.

  • STYLE: The sleek, modern styling of the Samsung RF265AASH French Door Refrigerator earns high marks with our style experts.  It should fit best in most modern kitchen decors.

  • CAPACITY:  As mentioned above, we found the 25.8 cu. ft. of space was well divided amongst the shelving and the in-door gallon sized bins.  The one thing we longed for was more separation in and amongst the door bins.  Having a lot of gallon space is great if you need it, but sometimes you can put too much in the door and it becomes cluttered that much more quickly.
  • NOTABLE FEATURES: The Cool Tight Doors were fantastic.  These are doors that close on their own, so you're always assured of a tight seal even if you forget to properly close the refrigerator door.  The Cool Select Zone is best described as a "fridge within a fridge."  It allowed you to have a separate temperature zone within the fridge.  Most fridge models have a similar feature, but they rarely work as well as the Samung.

  • COLORS: This unit is available only in the stainless model.

  • EFFICIENCY: It’s Energy Star qualified and like most of the Samsung models, it's quite efficient.  The Cool Tight Doors certainly help keep it that way! Not only will the Samsung RF265AASH save you money by saving energy, you'll also be entitled to receive an Energy Star Rebate.
