LG Side by Side Fridge (Model #LSC26905TT)

My LG side by side fridge is only 4 years old and I keep having an issue with the ice maker line across the back of the fridge getting pin holes in it and leaking when you get water out of the ice maker.
It damaged my wood flooring and I'm wondering if they have a recall or a product concern on this issue?
The line is made out of a very brittle plastic and has burst on me twice. The first time I patched it with a 4 " piece of rubber hose, but now I'm thinking the whole line will have to be replaced.
