Our Whirlpool side by side refrigerator (model no. ED5PVEXUS)has never made enough ice for two people all day much less the 5 people it's supposed to take care of.


It just stinks! We spent $1200 on our refrigerator and I am still buying ice.

I have Whirlpool GOLD refigerator, delivered late August '12. The ice maker takes over 9 hrs to make less than half a bucket of ice cubes. The doors do not close tightly unless pushed. So if you have your hands full of items from the refrigerator, the doors close but you still need to come back and push the doors to get a tight seal.
