My Kenmore Top Freezer Model 60412 sounds like a low-flying airplane in the house!

Decibel levels range from 53 to 57.9 dbA and dbC. (Yes I actually got a tool to measure how incredibly loud it was!!)

It's so loud it's actually hard to use the phone in the adjoining room when it's running!! This is truly the most noisy refrigerator I've had in 50 over years.

Besides that the door handles stick out needlessly far, preventing the door from opening fully in my kitchen. The handles hit the cabinets and I can't open the door because they are so damn big!!

Another thing that is so odd is the fact that the exterior of the refrigerator always feels very cold even when the heat is on in the house which leads me to believe that the insulation of this refrigerator must be minimal.

Plus the items fall out of the flat-edged freezer shelf anytime I actually move anything around.

It might be an ok fridge for a garage or someone who can handle loud noises.

Sites I checked before buying this fridge rated it 83 out of 100! I would have to say that this isn't the case and that I'd rate it about a 30 out of 100!

I just thought potential buyers should know about the noise before buying it for themselves. I hope this helps someone out there before they buy one for themselves.
