Amana French Door Refrigerator Black Textured Finish - Ice Compartment Leaking Water

I have a problem now with my Amana French door fridge - with a a black textured finish.
When I woke up one morning to find that the ice compartment was leaking water. So all the ice cubes are now in one solid huge block of ice.
My morning routine has now become to melt down the ice contents and I hope to have a bit of ice come lunch time. I didn't think that this kind of thing would happen to such a new refrigerator.
At first I didn't think it was a big deal but now I dread getting up in the morning to do my new routine. It's become quite a pain in the behind.
Does anyone know what is leaking? I know this is a bit ambiguous but it only leaks inside the ice tray. Thank God.....but something is wrong.
Can anyone help me? Any help or suggestions would really be appreciated. I am also hoping to fix it myself if at all possible. I really don't want to have to call a repair person if I don't have to.
