I purchased this Whirlpool Gold side by side refrigerator less than 5 months ago and the icemaker has not worked in 2 weeks.

The water dispenser on the door still works but the water is not cold.

I had a Hot Point for 30 years and never had any problems with it. Believe it or not, it was still making ice when it left with the Lowes delivery man.

Getting together with warranty repair person is a nightmare. Reading reviews about this product is even scarier. Evidently I have purchased a lemon.

We paid $1400.00 for this junk. Wish I had my 30 year old Hotpoint refrigerator back.
