LG side-by-side refrigerator

I hate the door alarm, we would like to disconnect it. Please tell us how. Our LG is side-by-side freezer. Just bought it earlier this year. Clare in New Hampshire

Hi Claire,

Usually, you can turn off the door alarm on the control panel. If not, check your user manual as there is sometimes a way to extend how long it takes for it to start chiming. I wouldn't recommend completely disconnecting it as it will likely void any warranty you have for the fridge. Hope this helps.
