Frigidaire Top Freezer Refrigerator

Have this hunk of junk Frigidaire top freezer refrigerator for 3 months and can't wait until it self destructs.

The compressor is extremely loud, high pitched and starts to run every time the door is opened. When it finally shuts down, it makes a gurgling sound like if its ready to die.

Wish it would.

We use to spend a lot of time in the kitchen but now this noisy refridg makes it impossible to have a conversation in adjacent rooms.

The unit is anything but energy efficient. They must have paid someone to for the so called US Government rating. The energy guide rating shows an estimated yearly operating cost of $43 yearly, when it is more like $43 monthly.

It is truly pathetic to put an appliance of this poor quality on the market especially by a so called manufacturer that has been making refridgerators for so many years.

The designers or so called engineers at Frigidaire or Electrolux should hang their heads in shame. Guess they were too busy in the cabinet and interior design and forgot about the primary function of a refridgerator.
