We've contacted Sears by phone and internet. The technician has not come as promised, we waited all day.
Then we had an independent repairman come to service. The compressor failed and needs to be replaced. It's an expensive repair that takes time and for us is just not feasible.
After learning this we contacted Sears again, but got fed up! Sincerely just a waste of our time.
We're going to dump this junk! We vow not to buy any products from Sears!

Where do I begin....
We purchased an LG refrigerator for an elderly, handicapped woman's apartment. We needed to help her get into the apartment as soon as possible, and we needed a prompt delivery on that refrigerator.
Sears promised for 7 weeks to get the refrigerator to us, and since they never delivered it....we had to purchase one elsewhere.
We are still awaiting the delivery fee refund.
This morning my 2 year old refrigerator stopped working. We paid over $2,000 for this refrigerator, and now Sears tells us that, because the 2008 did not have an extended warranty, it is going to cost us another arm and a leg to have it repaired.
When did Sears start selling such junk? When did Sears stop being for the customer? WHEN DID HIGH COST ITEMS FROM SEARS, STOP BEING WORTH THE POWDER TO BLOW THEM UP WITH?
From this point on, my husband and I,(50 years of purchases from Sears) will never buy an appliance from Sears.........PERIOD!
