GE Side by Side Refrigerator (model DSHS5PGXCESS)

My GE side by side refrigerator is a terrible appliance.

The best refrigerator review I can offer is "Don't buy GE!". It is incredibly noisy and the shelves inside the freezer are too narrow so they constantly fall out. They just drop to the bottom.

I bought a Maytag (Whirlpool) for my other house around same time and it is excellent. I called GE and they are very unhelpful -- but honestly they just don't care. Their main objective was to try to sell me a service call and parts -- WHEN IT IS THEIR DESIGN PROBLEM.
