I have an Amana bottom freezer refrigerator (Model #ABB2224DEW) that is about 5.5 years old (just out of warranty). It is the noisiest appliance I have ever owned.
It recently stopped working, producing no cold air. So far, the repair service has replaced the electronic control circuit and, on a subsequent visit, the relay capacitor.
The appliance worked adequately for a few days in both incidents and failed again. It makes a buzzing sound every 4 to 5 minutes, like it is trying to start up but to no avail.
I would never recommend or purchase another Amana appliance!!
