My Kenmore Sears Refrigerator and the Love-Hate Relationship I Have with it

by Rena
(Champagne, Il)

My Kenmore Sears refrigerator and I have a unique love-hate relationship. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it, sometimes I love to hate it, and sometimes I hate to love it.

All in all my Kenmore has stood the test of time. We have raised three kids, had countless dinner parties, and even had my mother-in-law living with us for a year.

To be honest, there are times when my mother-in-law was living here that the refrigerator was a lot more patient than I was.

The hinges should have worn out years ago. I have no idea what keeps them hanging on, but they should start making cars out of that stuff.

The one thing that I don't like about it is the Kenmore refrigerator water filter. I had no idea where it was, until it started leaking one night about 1 a.m. I woke up for work and found a fishing pond in the first story of our house.

After that incident, I have never overlooked that filter again. It gets changed more often than the oil in my car!

When it all is said and done, this refrigerator will probably be here longer than I am....keepin' it cool.

Great Sears Refrigerator Review!!
by: HeidiPro

Rena,

You are too funny!! I loved the fact that your refrigerator was more patient than you were with your whole mother-in-law issue!

I'm so sorry to hear that you had the problems you did with the water filter but it's great to know that you've learned how to keep up on it!

If you get a chance, could you also include on this posting the the style and the model number of your refrigerator to help anyone looking to buy a Kenmore refrigerator?

Thanks so much from the entire RefrigeratorPro.com team.
