GE Bottom Freezer Refrigerator (Model GF030768 )

We bought a GE Bottom drawer freezer and refrigerator (model# GF030768) a few years ago, every since then we have had technicians come out at least twice a year, the warranty expired within 2 years. We paid $5,000.00 6 years ago plus any and all service calls.

GE is awful with their help for customers.

As for the refrigerator, the freezer always builds ice in back of vents which makes the refrigerator go to 50 degrees because their is no ventilation on the bottom.

We have to defrost this ice with a hair dryer, that requires about doing that at least every month.

The ice maker broke a few times we have had to get parts on numerous occasions.

The seal on the freezer had to be replaced because it didn't seal any longer.

Many more problems, too long to write them all down. My suggestion, DON'T buy GE appliances.

I have a Amana refrigerator in my basement that is going strong after 15 years with no problem, and that was $ 4,000.00 less than GE.
