Frigidaire Side by Side Refrigerator (model# FRS6HR45KS)

I purchased my Frigidaire Stainless/Black side by side in November of 2009.

It has been less then 2 years and it went completely out.

I called for service on my frig and paid $125.00 for the service tech to come in and bend a copper tube. I was told this is a defect(sealed system)of the model I have.

When I called Frigidaire they told me they would pay for the $30.00 part but labor was on me.

With other problems not cropping up it is cheaper for me to go and buy a new side by side (it will not be a Frigidaire) then to have this one repaired.

This is so upsetting because it is only 2 years old. So needless to say my frig will not match my other appliances any longer.

I hope others don't have the same issues as I have had. If Frigidaire knew this was a problem with this model then why didn't they just recall the part and save all this trouble for their customers?
