AMANA Refrigerator French Door, Bottom Freezer (Model AFF2534FEB) - Mother Board Issue!

The Amana French door bottom refrigerator model does not really matter. The problem I've had has to do with the mother board.

I just paid $230 to repair a mother board that controls the temperature and defrost cycle on my refrigerator.

The unit is only 1.5 years old, that's correct, and was about 6 months past the one year warranty. I have friends who have had the same problem and sadly, I did not consult them BEFORE I bought the unit.

I am done with Amana appliances, which, by the way, is a Whirlpool subsidiary, so Whirlpool is also off my list.
