Amana Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Review (model #ABB2224DEQ)

We wanted to give you our own Amana bottom freezer refrigerator review because we didn't want anyone else to have the same problems a us.

We bought this Amana refrigerator Feb.2006, thinking that an expensive refrigerator would last and give good service...not!

The freezer handle kept getting loose. We had it tightened before the year was out and then it got loose again. I figured out how to fix it...for a while.

June 2010, the refrigerator part would not cool, and again the freezer door handle was loose. The repairman came out and took off the damper door to see if that would work. He told us he hadn't see this situation before and would order the damper control if needed. Guess what -- it worked.

Now, the freezer is not working. There is also a noise like a buzz sound going off every so often. I am wondering whether to have the refrigerator fixed or get a new one.
