Amana, Freezer on bottom, Model TZ21RW

We purchased our Amana Freezer on the bottom model TZ21RW in 1993 and it's been a true dream refrigerator! It has lasted over 28 years and in that time we have only had to change the ice maker twice...and the repair was under $100.00 both time!!


We LOVE IT!! It's the best fridge we could've bought! What's even crazier is that even though its only 21 cubic it's always been enough space for us. Even at Thanksgiving we never have trouble sticking a 26 lb turkey with all the extras!

We always have gallons of milk and a great deal of food and it's been perfect.

It's been amazing. Just last year it started to have a problem when the fan runs which has become very noisy thought it still cools perfectly and works like a charm.

After reading all of the reviews about the bottom freezer refrigerators from LG, Samsung and Kenmore we are getting fearful of the day it dies.

With such an amazing experience we are so looking to replace our current fridge with another Amana.

So if you're looking for a great fridge we highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend buying an Amana refrigerator.

Wow Allison! Such an amazing review for your Amana Bottom Freezer Fridge!! It's such a nice change to hear how someone has had a great experience with a refrigerator!

One suggestion we have to offer would be to have a repairman come and take a look at what's going on with the fan before it goes out. The fan is super important at keeping the more sensitive components cool and we wouldn't want it to go out and kill the fridge completely.

And for all you know it might just need to be vacuumed out of the back/inside and it might just work like new!

Anytime you can keep an appliance that you love it's always worth spending the time and money to make sure there isn't a way to keep it yours.

I hope that your current refrigerator lasts for many more years to come.
