Why is the Outside and Middle of My Double Door Refrigerator Hot?

Why are is the outside and middle of the double doors on my refrigerator hot?

The other odd thing is that the fridge makes a vibration noise when the doors are shut and it stops when doors are open.

Then all of a sudden there was a knocking noise sounding like the compresser is going out. The outer and center of the doors are extremely hot...Why?

Please help.
