Shelves Falling Apart in Our LG Side by Side Stainless Refrigerator LSC27926ST

We purchased our LG refrigerator in March of 2008. We have been pleased with how it works, however, the plastic tray on the inside refrigerator door is cracking.

I am so disappointed that we bought a pricey refrigerator yet they used inferior plastic which doesn't withstand normal use.

LG customer service is happy to refer customers to an LG replacement company where one can purchase a new shelf for only $39.74.

How interesting that the 13 year old refrigerator in the garage is in perfect working condition, yet this 2 year old refrigerator is falling apart.
