Replace the Compressor in My Norcold Refrigerator

I have a 2 ½ year old Norcold refrigerator model DE0061R (purchased 2/2/08) whose compressor has failed.

There is about 18v AC going into the compressor (from the power supply) with no activity or amp draw. I understand there is only a two year warranty on this reefer so I am looking for a replacement compressor kit.

Anyone know where I can find one?

Sorry to hear about the issue you've had with your Norcold refrigerator.

I tried to do some research to find the kit you are looking for but every time I ran into a dead end. It seems like you need to get someone on the phone to find the exact kit.

Find someone who carries RV refrigerator parts and then call them on the phone to make sure you're buying the right one. The internet is a wonderful thing but specifically when you are talking about things that don't have to be exact to work.

This is one item that you're going to need to talk to another person about before purchasing and someone who is fairly knowledgeable.
