Nothing But Problems with My Kenmore Top Freezer Refrigerator 253.64802400

I bought this Kenmore top freezer refrigerator four years ago with the extended warranty and have had nothing but problems with the freezer since it was delivered.


The freezer warms up and everything defrosts, when I open the door I can actually feel warm air coming from inside.

I have had the serviceman out several times, they can't find the problem. One had the audacity to tell me that in the summer the freezer won't work as well?!?!

I have written to Sears' corporate headquarters, called the store, and now the extended warranty is up and they won't renew it.

They also will not replace the refrigerator. I've been stuck with this P.O.S. for four years!

I will never buy another Sears/KMart product again and I was a loyal customer. Their product line was once excellent, but that is no longer the case.

Kenmore Freezer Failure

Disgusted with Kenmore service and my Kenmore refrige!!

Our refrigerator runs all the time even though our freezer failed 9 months ago. Again now. I want to chuck the fridge.

They say it will be like new after they order emergency parts, tomorrow, and get an emergency appointment in 7 days. They have a policy for money for spoiled food and sent me $200 in September for a week of problems.

I asked for more money and can only get $50 as they give only $250 for any 12 months.

I will never use Kenmore and never buy from Sears again.

I'm Having Problems Too!!

I have a 3-month old top freezer refrigerator that needs repair to the freezer gasket.

Their fix on the phone is to "tilt" the refrigerator back so top door stays tightly shut. They are Nuts!

First scheduled day they were supposed to arrive and they didn't show up between 1:00 and 5:00 pm. He called at 6:00 and there was static on his end of the phone and he never called back and told his office I was not home!

Wouldn't get rescheduled for another 3 days. Am now waiting again for man to show up. After reading previous review I am going to return this before it's too late.

I, too, will never buy another appliance or even shop in their stores again. Their after market support is the worst I have ever had.
