My New Kenmore Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Doesn't Cool!!

I bought a new Kenmore bottom freezer refrigerator (model 795.76202) on August 9, 2010 from Sears.

My brand new refrigerator does not cool at all even though I can hear it running.

I plan on returning it and buying a GE bottom freezer refrigerator from another store.

After this experience I wouldn't recommend buying a Kenmore refrigerator.

Kenmore is not reliable

We bought our Kenmore refrigerator new (bottom freezer, 21+ cu. ft.) 15 months ago.

Now it will not cool any more.

We contacted Sears by phone and internet for service. Finally we got an appointment set up for service. We had waited for all day, but the technician never showed up as scheduled/promised, not even a phone call.

Then we called a local veteran repairman for service. The compressor has failed and needs to be replaced.

This repair will be costly and take time. We called Sears back again, just to realize we were wasting our time.

We've decided to dump this piece of junk and buy a Samsung instead!!

I Had the Same Problem with a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator

I bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator and I had the same problem.

I returned it and got a Kenmore side by side refrigerator to replace it. Though the water dispenser didn't work.

Sears told me I needed to replace the door after only 3weeks!! Nice, huh?!?!
