My Maytag Side by Side Refrigerator (Model #MSD2957DE) Is Competetly Useless!!

I bought this Maytag side-by-side refrigerator about 5 years ago because it was supposed to be the high end brand. It did fine for the first 2 years, but now is completely useless.

The major problem is the how Maytag designed the shelves and the rack they rest on. It is a small plastic piece that has broken off on every shelf. Only the top shelf and second shelf are still in place. The bottom drawers are useless as they have no support due to the little plastic rods that hold everything together breaking off. You can not replace nor glue them back on!!

Additionally the freezer spills water (from where I don't know) and eventually you have an ice pond at the bottom of your freezer. You have to remove the back paneling and clean out a trap to get the drain working again.

I'd say it is shameful engineering!

It seems like they designed it to last around 3 years -- definitely not high end!!
