Mold Problems With Our Kenmore Freezerless Refrigerator (model C875-63882)

We have owned Kenmore freezerless refrigerator for about 8 years but there has been a mold problem from day one. I am not sure how to fix it.

The shelves and everything on them get a black mold that drives me nuts. The drain hole at the back will also freeze up if there is too much stuff in the fridge and will leak water on everything if it is not clear of ice.

So, nothing major but the mold is definitely a problem. Has anyone else had this problem?
