KitchenAid Side by Side Refrigerator Broken - Refrigerator Part Needed is Unavailable

My young KitchenAid side by side refrigerator broke, the repairman spent all his time trying to get someone on tech support to help him.

He was told that the part he needed to repair my fridge is unavailable so he must remove the part and mail it in for repair. Meanwhile I would be without a refrigeration unit in my home. Such insane service so far.

Now I am on the phone waiting for customer support but it has been 15 minutes so far. This is really bad news for owners of Kitchen Aid fridges.

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought it.
