KitchenAid Refrigerator Model KFIS27CXMS0 is Horrible!

by Susan
(USA)

I just want to tell you that the new KitchenAid Refrigerator model KFIS27CXMS0 is horrible!

They designed it to have the left door of the french
doors close and not stay open. So whenever you have to get something out of it and especially if it is heavy you need someone to hold it open.

Wanted anyone looking to buy this refrigerator to know about this flaw.

I Also Have Door Problems
by: Big Bird

I too have problems with the door but my KitchenAid refrigerator won't close without pushing on it twice.

I hate this refrigerator! Though I still love the ice in the door and pull out drawer and the freezer.

Got a Samsung Instead!
by: Susan

Thanks for your comments about my horrible KitchenAid experience.

I had 3 people here to see if it could be fixed. Two from the place where it was bought and they tried leveling it a few times.

Then a mechanic from KitchenAid came and when he called the technical division he was told that is the design of it. I really don't understand why.

Anyway got a new Samsung 4 door and love it.

That's a surprise!
by: HeidiPro

Susan,

We're so sorry to hear about this. Is there any possibility that your refrigerator isn't properly leveled (is that how you say it?)? We were just wondering if it was set level maybe it wouldn't have the tendency to close on you like that.

Also, did you contact KitchenAid about this? They just might have a very easy solution to fix this.
