Kitchen Aid Superba side-by-side Counter Depth Refrigerator

My KitchenAid counter-depth refrigerator is 10 years old.

Almost exactly after the warranty ran out the in-door ice maker stopped working and we were told that it was not repairable.

Recently the doors of this white textured refrigerator started to rust. KitchenAid said the issue was 'environmental'. That's pretty funny since the low-end GE refrigerator that I had in the same location for 25 years never had a sign of rust on it before it died of old age.

KitchenAid will not stand behind their products. I will never buy a KitchenAid or Whirlpool product or appliance again. It's too bad that you cannot trust this product line anymore.
