Kenmore French Door Bottom Freezer Model # 795.77316600

I purchased all new kitchen appliances 4 1/2 years ago. Range, Refrigerator, Dishwasher and Oven Hood. In that time I've had a broken range delivered to my house which went back, a dishwasher which no longer works and a refrigerator which now needs a new compressor which will cost a little more than 650.00 to install. These appliances cost a bit more than 5,000.00.

I purchased Kenmore brand because I assumed they would stand behind their products. When I was asked about buying an extended warranty I told the sales lady I was paying the higher price of Kenmore brand because I didn't expect them to break down.

To my regret, I should have just purchased the products at a big box store; I don't think it would have made any difference in how durable the product was and I would have saved at least 1,000.00.

If you are buying Kenmore because you think you will get a long-lasting appliance, I'm just not sure quality is there any longer.
