Just Purchased My Samsung (model RF217ACBP) and Already Has a Problem

I just purchased my Samsung refrigerator (model RF217ACBP) ONLY 2 DAYS AGO!! After opening the freezer the plastic connector that holds the handle to the door broke!

Sears installation personnel has ordered another handle but made the comment that it was a poor design.

Letter to Otto...Samsung is a Lemon!

Otto, you're in for a wild ride with your Samsung Refrigerator...Samsung is a Lemon! I just replaced mine after 3 long years.

The arm on the ice maker is made of plastic and will break soon.
The temperature gauge or what ever it is comes and goes at will and defrosts everything in the freezer.
Eventually the computer board will go out and can't be replaced.

I hope you bought a long warranty. I didn't so this time I bought a 5 year warranty and a Frigidaire.

Don't Hold High Expectations...

Don't hold high expectations of them actually getting you the handle and taking care of it easily. I think I had to call a dozen times to get the replacement piece I needed for my Samsung refrigerator.
