This GE bottom freezer refrigerator is a fine fridge so far, but I am super disappointed in the energy use.

I bought it because it had the lowest energy use rated by Energy Star. The most amazing thing is it isn't the fault of the refrigerator either. The fact that it is an auto defrost refrigerator it uses more than a manual defrost refrigerator.

If you really want to save energy, get a manual defrost. I wish I had kept my old one, since now I am using more energy with the new one because of the auto defrost.
