Faulty Ice Maker on My LG Side by Side Refrigerator LSC279107T

We have a LG side by side refrigerator (LSC279107T) that with less than one year in use had a faulty ice dispenser switch.

Repair took over a month, and other problems were found. The ice tray apparently warps and causes water to leak and form an ice stalagmite.

It took 2 1/2 months to get the part to the repairman and so far another month has passed and it still hasn't been replaced.

And the ice dispenser chute has a stress crack, and the motor to turn the screw that moves the ice is stalled out (hums and sometimes tries to move).

I expect much better from a refrigerator that is just over a year old! The service is horrible and the product poorly crafted.

I complained to LG about the service that just doesn't respond and they promised it wouldn't happen again. And yet still, nothing!

Model #LSC279107T, titanium color, bought at Home Depot, side X side, ~26 cubic feet.
