I have a problem now with my Amana French door fridge - with a black textured finish.
When I woke up one morning to find that the ice compartment was leaking water, all the ice cubes were now in one solid massive block of ice.
My morning routine is now to melt the ice contents, and I hope to have a bit of ice come lunchtime. I didn't think this kind of thing would happen to such a new refrigerator.
At first, I didn't think it was a big deal, but now I dread getting up in the morning to do my new routine. It's become quite a pain in the behind.
Does anyone know what is leaking? This is ambiguous, but it only leaks inside the ice tray. Thank God.....but something is wrong.
Can anyone help me? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I am also hoping to fix it myself if at all possible. I don't want to call a repair person if I don't have to.
