Whirlpool Gold Refrigerator GI6FDRXXY Review
25.5 cu. ft. French Door Resource Saver Refrigerator with Ice and Water Dispenser – Monochromatic Stainless Steel Finish
Overall: The Whirlpool Gold refrigerator GI6FDRXXY is one of the largest French door refrigerators in the Whirlpool gold line. It is perfect for bigger households of 4 or more people as it holds a great deal of food and has many great features as well.
It is called the Resource Saver as it is made to save energy and is one of the most energy efficient French door refrigerators on the market.
Capacity: 25.5 cu. ft.
- Easy Access to Filtered Ice & Water: Having filtered and chilled water at all times is a breeze with the internal PUR water filter. No more lugging water home from the store! Best of all the same water makes for great tasting ice. Also the dispenser adds a high tech look with the touch control panel.
- Great Lighting: Refrigerator lighting has gone from the typical bulb to LEDs. Our favorite way to use this type of lighting is individual little points of light. The Whirlpool Gold refrigerator GI6FDRXXY uses exactly this type of lighting so you can easily see the inside of the refrigerator, finding whatever you need.
- Resource Saver: This refrigerator uses many different technologies to make it more energy efficient. Such as their 6th Sense™ Technology, Accu-Chill™ Temperature Management System, and Adaptive Defrost System. All of these pieces work together to make this one of the most energy efficient refrigerators on the market.
- Great Drawers & Shelving: The shelves are spill proof so spills from higher shelves don’t fall down to others. The drawers have more than enough room for plenty for meats cheeses and produce. There’s even one that is a full width of the refrigerator for large party trays.
Colors: This refrigerator review is of the Monochromatic Stainless Steel finish but it also comes in Black and White.
Efficiency: The Whirlpool Gold Refrigerator GI6FDRXXY is Energy Star rated.
MSRP: $2299.00 for the stainless steel but the other finishes tend to be around $200 less.
Take a look at what it is currently selling for as the price above is only what Whirlpool suggests.
