Samsung Refrigerators Class Action Lawsuit

Customer Rating of Samsung Refrigerators Taken Seriously

If you're looking for more information on the Samsung refrigerators class action lawsuit then you've come to the right place.

We've heard from many people about the issues they've had with their Samsung fridges and the difficulty they've had with getting them resolved. The one bright spot in all of this is in October 2010 a class action lawsuit was filed due to all of the Samsung refrigerators problems.

Samsung Lawsuit Specifics

In case you think your Samsung refrigerator should be included in this case, here's some more information.

  • Who: The lawsuit is between Samsung refrigerator owners and Samsung USA. The attorneys heading the case are Darryl Myhre, Jo Anna Frager and Jeff Weske.

  • What: The case has to do with an alleged defect causing the refrigerator coils to freeze and in turn stops the refrigerator from cooling. They are looking for damages covering lost/spoiled food and repairs. (See below for model numbers.)

  • Where: This case is being held in New Jersey and covering Samsung refrigerator owners from all across the USA.

Which Samsung Refrigerators Are in This Lawsuit

The models in question fall in their side by side, French door and bottom freezer refrigerators lines. Here are the exact models in question:

  • RF266AASH
  • RS263BBWP
  • RB1955SH
  • RS2533SW
  • RS267LASH
  • RS267TDRS
  • RS2630WW

If the model of your model fridge isn't listed above, but you've had the exact same problem then don't be alarmed. We've also read that any Samsung refrigerators that also have this problem in which the coils freeze over and the fridge stops cooling are also to be included in this case.
