Overall: The LG side by side refrigerator LSC24971ST is one LG that we happen to really love. The interior of this fridge is so bright and easy to use with great organizational abilities. This is definitely one of the larger cabinet depth refrigerators on the market.

Capacity: 23.5 cu. ft.

Notable Features:

1. Counter Depth: If you are not really sure which kind of refrigerator you want (regular depth or counter depth) we can’t stress the importance of a counter depth. While typically is has less storage space, makes it truly look like a "built in" fridge at a fraction of the cost.

   
   

2. Internal LED Lighting: This makes a huge difference in visibility of finding what you need in the entire fridge. Best of all, it never heats up -- can never cause a fire if left on. (We've heard lots of complaints where regular bulbs that became fire hazards.)

   
   

3. SpacePlus Ice Making System: LG created this feature to allow for more interior space in the freezer .

   
   

4. Warranties: There are three separate ones but interesting none the less especially the last one. 1 Year on parts and labor, 7 Years on the sealed system and 10 Years on the linear compressor.

Cons:

• While the front of this fridge is stainless, the sides are grey in color.

• The only other thing to mention, is simply something you will find with any side by side, that large trays of food will not fit in the fridge and larger items like frozen pizzas will not fit in the freezer.

MSRP: $2399 is the recommended price but it is really worth checking around to see if you can get it for a better deal. We’ve seen it for more than 20% off.
